Can I use you for my insurance claim (like hail or storm damage)?

Yes, in most cases. While some insurers have "preferred panels," many allow you to choose your own contractor if they are VAT-registered and compliant. We provide the professional, itemized quotes and photos that insurance assessors require to speed up approval. If you've been hit by hail or flooding, we can assist with the assessment to ensure the full extent of the damage is documented correctly from the start.

What is your standard payment structure for projects?

All projects require an 85% deposit to secure materials remaining balance to be paid upon completion.

"Quotes" often end up costing more later. How do you handle hidden costs?

We hate "surprise" invoices as much as you do. Our quotes are comprehensive, but in renovations—especially with older South African buildings—unforeseen issues like rusted pipes or crumbling sub-structures can hide behind walls.

  • Our Policy: If we find a "hidden" problem, we stop, show it to you, and provide a Variation Order (VO) with a price for the fix. Nothing is added to your bill without your consent first.

Who actually does the work? Will there be strangers on my property?

Security is a top priority. We use a core team of permanent staff, and any specialized subcontractors (like registered electricians) are people we have worked with for years. There is always a site supervisor present who is your point of contact.

What happens if something breaks a month after you leave?

We don’t disappear once the final payment is made. We provide a standard 3-month warranty on our workmanship. If a tile cracks or a joint leaks due to our installation, we come back and fix it at no cost to you. Manufacturer warranties apply to materials (like geysers or specialized coatings), and we provide you with all those certificates upon completion.
